Free Tours Cagliari was born in 2016 from four tour guides and friends, from the desire to tell the city in an authentic, respectful and engaging way. In recent years many things have changed and at the moment only Giulia takes care of the project, always hoping that her friends will return.
We believe that culture should be accessible to any type of tourist, which is why we offer the first visit to the city with the concept of Free Tour, in which the tourist chooses how much to pay. We hope in this way to make the traveller responsible for the economic choice.
The contents of our tours are historical, artistic, architectural but also cultural, anecdotal, food and wine and social. We do not hide from the curious tourist the critical issues and problems that our island faces.
Although tourism is our passion and our job, we fight to ensure that Sardinia does not suffer from overtourism, educating the traveller to simple and good practices to have a positive impact on their trip.
